Howdy, y’all! Just last Friday, a new and exciting spot just popped up in our beloved ATX Warehouse District and we couldn’t resist checking it out. Situated in the building that was once home to Truluck’s, on the vibrant corner of 4th and Colorado, is the newly opened Estelle’s. This swanky joint is the latest masterpiece from the creatives behind Austin’s own NoCo Hospitality, the same folks who gifted us with the delights of Superstition, Higher Ground and Skinny’s Off Track Bar.

The Vibes

Now, let’s get into the good stuff – what does Estelle’s have on the menu? Well, folks, Estelle’s is not your run-of-the-mill joint. This luxury social club features not just one, but multiple bars along with a tantalizing restaurant, and get this, a boutique-scale flower shop too! The flower arrangements are curated by our local floral designer, Native Bloom, adding a touch of Austin charm to the experience.

Upon entering Estelle’s, you’ll find yourself in an intimate, upscale bar and lounge on the first floor. But it’s the second floor that’s got my Texas heart a-fluttering. This lively club room with a DJ booth is designed for those nights when your boots need to kick up some fun. Looking for a more exclusive soirée? Estelle’s got you covered with private seating areas and bottle service.

The drinks are as upscale as the venue itself. We’re talking fine wines, craft beers, and specialty cocktails inspired by a botanical theme. I absolutely fell in love with their Matcha Martini and the Granny Smith Gimlet. But the pièce de résistance was the nori-infused Breton Water, a unique twist I’d never encountered before!

When it comes to the food, Estelle’s aims to tantalize your taste buds with an array of seafood shareables, small plates, and canapés. I’m still dreaming about that caviar served with an everything seeded-English muffin and a dollop of whipped red onion crème fraiche, y’all! And let’s not forget their seafood towers, shishito peppers, and desserts from Cookie Rich. As an added bonus, they’re offering a happy hour with complimentary passed canapes and light bites from 5-6pm, Tuesday through Thursday.

Now, let’s talk ambiance. Estelle’s interiors scream grandeur but with a cozy vibe. Imagine sipping on a cocktail surrounded by eclectic vintage pieces and mid-century modern art. The main bar, ensconced in stunning Calacatta Viola marble, is a sight to behold. Oh, and the Hollywood-style booths and living room seating upstairs? Absolutely divine.

But don’t just take our word for it, experience Estelle’s for yourself. Nick Sanchez, NoCo Hospitality’s Director of Operations, says it best: “The upscale, swanky environment is open to the public, but it feels like an exclusive experience.” And that it does, Nick. That it does.

We must tip our hats to Chelsea Kloss, Director of Interiors + Curation for LV Collective, and her team who worked with Variant Collaborative to breathe new life into this iconic property. Their goal was to transform the expansive space into smaller, intimate gathering areas, and boy did they deliver!
