The Trendy TikTok Food Trends That Are Worth A Try

Tiktok has taken over the world especially during the COVID era. The app recently set a record high with over 2 billion downloads, and with a huge, captivate audience doing everything from dance crazes to short creative food trends, it only takes a cool idea to send something into a viral whirl. During quarantine, more people were staying safe at home getting creative in the kitchen, and uploading their masterpieces for millions of fellow foodies, on Tiktok. These delicious, quick, and easy ingredient recipes trends were born and worth a try.

Pizza Log

What You’ll Need For This Recipe:

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • Teaspoons store-bought pizza sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 24 pepperoni slice
  • 4 Mozzarella string cheese sticks


First, preheat the oven to 425. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Pour some water into a small bowl and set aside.

Next, on a surface, place an egg roll wrapper, dip your finger in water, and spread the water all over the edges of the egg roll wrapper, so the corners can be sticky when you wrap it.

Spread a teaspoon of pizza sauce horizontally across the center of the wrapper, leaving ½ inch or so of space on each side. Then add a row of 3 pepperoni slices, place a cheese stick on top of the pepperoni.  Fold bottom corners and don’t forget to pinch the bottom corners as well. Dip your finger in the dish of water and lightly wet the edges of the remaining top corner of the wrapper and roll up tightly to seal. Place wrapped pizza log onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

Finally, when all of the pizza logs are wrapped and on the baking sheets. Bake for 10-14 minutes, flipping once halfway through until the wrappers are golden brown. If desired, serve with additional pizza sauce.

Flourless Chocolate Chip Cookies

What You’ll Need For This Recipe:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg
  •  ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips


First, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together peanut butter and the 4 ingredients in a medium bowl until its well blended. Next, stir in the chocolate chips.

Next, on a cookie sheet with parchment paper use a 2-inch cookie scoop and place cookie dough balls 2-inches apart.

Finally, bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.  Then let the cookie cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.

Mini Pancake Cereal

What You’ll Need For This Recipe:

  • Pancake batter
  • 1tsp of butter
  • Pancake syrup


First, make your pancake batter, you can choose to make your favorite recipe or your go-to pancake boxed mix. Whatever you end up doing, make sure the pancake batter is not too thick or runny. Once your pancake batter is mixed up properly, put it into a squeeze bottle or put it in a ziplock bag, and cut a tiny hole on the tip end.

Next, heat up a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Put a thin layer of oil on your pan that you use to cook with. Pipe out small pancakes and cook until small bubbles appear on the mini pancake. Then flip and continue cooking until golden brown, about 30 seconds more. 

Finally, put your tiny pancakes into a bowl. Top it off with a pat of butter and drizzle your favorite pancake syrup.
