So you want breakfast in Houston?

Houston is a melting pot of diversity and culture, and its gastronomy does not fail to reflect that. Houston is famous for their diverse restaurant experience and it can be hard to choose from so many different options. Today we choose to focus on the most important meal of the day: Breakfast. The following are some of our top breakfast spots in Houston.

1. Dish Society

Although this delicious restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner it is still a breakfast spot that you can’t miss. The farm to table concept used in this restaurant makes your meal taste fresh and nutritious. Dish Society serves all the classic american meals with a fresh twist. We recommend trying the Brisket & Eggs as well as the Pancakes (you can never go wrong with pancakes!)

2. Hugo’s

Breakfast at Hugo’s is a must if you are visiting Houston and are in need of a good Mexican breakfast. From Barbacoa to Huevos Rancheros, Hugo’s will make you feel like you are right at home! They are open for breakfast Thursdays – Sundays and their staff is extremely well-reviewed for their excellent service.

3. Lucille’s

Lucille’s is the perfect place for anyone who misses home. The breakfast here is classic southern cuisine with an elevated and sophisticated twist. You will find all your southern favorites such as Chicken and Waffle, Croissant French Toast, and even Mac n Cheese! Lucille’s has a nice backyard with a southern home feel where you can sit on one of their various spaced out tables. The inside is a bit more sophisticated but the staff still makes you feel right at home.

4. The Breakfast Klub

The Breakfast Klub in Houston, Texas has been renowned as one of the best breakfast restaurants in the nation by many prestigious raters such as Forbes Magazine and USA today. This restaurant offers a family feel with a modern twist. There is no right time to get to The Breakfast Klub since it is usually very full, however, you can count on their friendly staff to get you seated between 15-35 min. Their specialties include Wings & Waffles and Katfish & Grits.

5. Blacksmith

Blacksmith is an elevated coffee shop where you can enjoy one of their delicious seasonal drinks alongside a nice breakfast. There are lots of people being productive and getting work done in this spacious and well-lit location. Their breakfast sandwiches come well served and well recommended. Additionally you can’t go wrong with a nice steak and eggs. This place is sure to make you feel full and productive!
